BRIAN P. GAUTHIER is an associate with Fogarty & Hara. Prior to joining Fogarty & Hara, Mr. Gauthier served as an agency attorney with New York City Public Schools (previously the New York City Department of Education), litigating complex IDEA matters before administrative hearing officers and appeals before the New York Office of State Review (OSR). Before joining the NYCPS, Mr. Gauthier served as an assistant district attorney in the Bronx prosecuting crimes of domestic violence. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Gauthier was a classroom teacher in Mississippi, Taiwan, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Mr. Gauthier graduated from American University, Washington College of Law in 2017 where he was a member of the Mock Trial competition team and a senior staffer on the Business Law Review law journal. Mr. Gauthier earned Bachelor of Arts degrees, cum laude, in History and International Studies, from Southern Adventist University. Mr. Gauthier is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
